DIRT-STAINED ROSES is a multiplatform media company rooted in innovation, equity, and storytelling that drives social change. Since 2022, we’ve elevated marginalized voices through film, television, documentaries, podcasts, books, and theater—harnessing the power of art to ignite visibility, shift culture, and advance collective liberation.

To cultivate the next generation of changemakers, DSR has launched several impact-driven initiatives, including the DSR Scholarship Program, the Internship & Mentorship Initiative, the DSR Reading Program, and a dedicated Screenwriting Program.​

Ebony Gilbert
​
Ebony Gilbert is a television writer, playwright, author, and founder of Dirt-Stained Roses Productions, a company amplifying marginalized voices through film, education, and community initiatives. Raised in Little Haiti, Miami, she began her career writing for the Miami Herald before earning her MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University.

A former writer-producer on Batwoman and J. Edgar, Ebony’s work blends socially conscious themes with emotionally resonant storytelling. Her documentary ifine (beauty)—a global festival winner now streaming on Documentary+—explores the skin-bleaching epidemic in Sierra Leone.
​
Through DSR, Ebony has launched scholarships, youth programs, and the acclaimed podcast From the Concrete, spotlighting changemakers shaping culture today.

She is represented by Paradigm and Artists First Agency.

Kamali Gilbert
​
Kamali Gilbert is the Vice President and Head of Development at Dirt-Stained Roses Productions. Born and raised in Little Haiti, Miami, one of the city’s most underserved communities, Kamali’s creative voice was shaped by the rich complexity of his ​​environment. He began documenting his surroundings at a young age—driven by a deep curiosity and a desire to capture the stories often left untold.
​
In 2013, Kamali moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. After earning his degree in Motion Pictures and Television Production, he got his start as a production assistant on BET’s , interned at Jesse Collins Entertainment, and went on to produce the award-winning short film . Kamali expanded his creative reach as the Creative Producer of , winner of the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and has held roles at Workshop Creative, Conscious Minds Studio, and Disney-owned Freeform as a Project Manager.

A passionate advocate for representation, Kamali is especially committed to increasing visibility for young Black men in creative executive roles. At DSR, he brings that mission forward—developing and producing stories that are bold, meaningful, and rooted in truth.

Myles Moody
​
Myles Moody is a writer and producer dedicated to amplifying the lived experiences of people of color. A Baltimore native and Bowie State University graduate, he began his career in mental health advocacy, partnering with city leaders to expand access to wellness resources.
​
In 2025, Myles joined Dirt-Stained Roses Productions, where he rose to become Creator and Executive Producer of From the Concrete, the company’s flagship podcast spotlighting changemakers across the creative landscape.
​
He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Writing and Producing for Television at Loyola Marymount University, continuing his mission to create space for Black voices in storytelling and leadership.

Kaliah Beuzard

Kaliah Beuzard is a visionary creative and design strategist with an unshakable passion for storytelling through style, color, and culture. A proud native of Washington, D.C., Kaliah brings a sharp eye for design and a commitment to crafting visually compelling experiences—whether through graphics, branding, or merchandise.
As Dirt-Stained Roses' very first intern, Kaliah joined the team through the Internship & Mentorship Initiative, quickly establishing herself as a dynamic force. Today, she leads as Head of Merchandising, overseeing the company’s growing line of purpose-driven products that reflect DSR’s mission and movement.
Kaliah has studied Graphic Design, continually sharpening her skills and expanding her creative toolkit. From collaborating with diverse clients to building DSR’s brand identity, she remains rooted in the power of design to inspire, connect, and create change.
